& Repairs

Every piece from Make it Popp is made individually, by hand, after your order is placed. Please be aware that every order is cut and sewn specifically for you. To avoid returns please get in touch with me to make sure all of your questions or uncertainties can be addressed before ordering.

Made to Order

Made for You

Every piece begins when you place your order. There is no stock, no warehouse. The Dog Rain Coat is cut and sewn for your pup — which means it is made to your measurements. As a custom-made item, it is exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal. By placing an order, you confirm that you understand and accept this.

The Gilet and The Bucket Hat can be returned within 14 days of delivery — see your right of withdrawal below.

We naturally ask that returned items come back in a new, clean and unused condition. We recommend trying your new piece on indoors first, keeping the packaging and all labels intact. If an item is returned showing signs of use, we may deduct a reasonable amount from your refund to reflect any loss in value.

Please note that the cost of returning a product is not covered by Make it Popp. Before returning anything, please get in touch at kat@makeitpopp.eu so we can help.

Returns should be sent to: Rua dos Combatentes 679, 4405-738 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. Please choose a shipping method that provides a tracking number, and always include your order or invoice number. Once we receive your return, you can expect your refund within 14 days, via the same payment method used for the original order.

Right of Withdrawal

Your 14-Day Right

For The Gilet and The Bucket Hat, you have the right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after delivery to you or a third party.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform me — Katharina Popp, Rua dos Combatentes 679, 4405-738 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, kat@makeitpopp.eu — of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal: If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard cost of delivery (but not any supplementary cost arising from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest. You shall send the goods back without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

We Will Make it Right

We stand fully behind the quality of our work. If your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect or fault, or develops one that was present at the time of delivery, please contact us at kat@makeitpopp.eu — we will make it right.

EU Consumer Law Separately from the 14-day right of withdrawal, you benefit from the statutory legal guarantee against defects. Under EU consumer law this applies for a minimum of two years from delivery, and under Portuguese law for up to three years for movable goods. Within this period you are entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, price reduction or refund) for any product that does not conform to its description or was faulty at the time of delivery. This right is not affected by our made-to-order policy.

Get it Right First Time

Because we confirm measurements for The Dog Rain Coat with you before cutting, we ask that you take care when providing your details. Always follow the instructions on my website "How to measure my dog". If you are unsure about it, please reach out before ordering — we are happy to help.
